Join us on Friday, February 6, from 1:00 PM – 2:30 PM EST for an afternoon of portfolio feedback and design conversations.

At Loft Design, we love connecting with the design community to share work, bounce off fresh ideas, and offer a window into our design process. We are excited to announce our next Virtual Portfolio Review Session is officially on the calendar!

The Format

We’ll have breakout rooms to ensure that everyone gets high-quality feedback while learning from their peers.

  • 1-on-2 Mentorship: Each participant will be paired with two Loft designers for a direct review of their work.
  • Small Group Learning: You’ll be joined by 2–3 other reviewees in your breakout room. You are encouraged to listen to other critiques and stay to hear the feedback given to your peers, it's a great way to see different design approaches in action.
  • 20-Minute Deep Dives: Every participant will have a dedicated 20-minute window to walk through their projects.
  • Shared Insights: Some of the best "aha!" moments come from hearing how others solve similar design challenges.

Who Should Attend

This event is open to designers of all levels, from students building/ refining their portfolio to professionals looking for a fresh perspective. Whether you are seeking a review or just want to see how Loft approaches design critiques, we’d love to see you.

How to Participate

Because these sessions are highly personalized, space is limited to 15 people.

  1. RSVP: Book your space while the eventbrite is open, if you are unable to make it please let us know so another person can participate.
  2. Notification: Our team will notify participants with a calendar invite by Monday, February 2.

Tips for an efficient 20-Minute Review

To make the most of your time with in the session, we recommend the following:

  • Curate Your Work: 20 minutes goes by fast! Pick 1 or 2 key projects that best showcase your work rather than trying to show your entire portfolio.
  • Test Your Tech: Ensure your microphone is working and your portfolio (PDF or Website) is ready to be screen-shared before you enter the breakout room.
  • Have a Specific Question: Are you looking for feedback on your storytelling, your technical execution, or your layout? Let us know upfront in hte session so we can tailor our advice.
  • Be a Great Peer: Since you’ll be sharing the room with other designers, feel free to take notes during their sessions, you might find their feedback just as helpful as your own!

Not looking for a review? You are still welcome to join our main virtual room to meet the Loft team and network with other creatives during the event.

We look forward to seeing your work and meeting you!
